“A lesson from a toddler”
My 18 month old struggled to walk up the slippery slide in the playground. She kept falling. She looked to me to help her. I picked her up and put her on top so she can slide down. I thought “what a lesson in life- she didn’t know how to get to the top of the slide- but she WANTED so badly and she was close to me so I could easily lift her up.
In life we don’t always know how to get to our goals, but if we have a sincere and powerful will and we turn to G-d. G-d has infinite ways to get us where we need to go, even if we are making mistakes. So I think of this little girl and remind myself- YEARN and TURN to G-d.
This is a little clarity reminder that G-d can help us- despite any of our mistakes. From a place of trust in His love we are much more likely to tap into the resources we need to not give up on our personal goals, improve ourselves and embrace others.
Warmly, Tzipora
